Product And Fit

4 questions

What is ProAutoSites?

ProAutoSites is a focused website, inventory merchandising, lead capture, appointment, and CRM platform for independent auto dealers. It brings the public dealer website and the day-to-day control panel together so inventory, shopper inquiries, and follow-up stay connected.

What type of dealership is the best fit?

The platform is designed for independent dealers that want a professional website and practical sales tools without adopting a large enterprise system. Starter supports smaller lots, Pro adds capacity and growth tools, and Premium supports larger inventories and more advanced CRM and marketing workflows.

Is ProAutoSites a full dealership management system?

No. ProAutoSites focuses on websites, inventory, leads, appointments, basic and advanced CRM features, marketing tools, and reporting. It does not replace accounting, title processing, payroll, lender servicing, or a complete dealer management system.

Can I see the website and control panel before signing up?

Yes. The Demos page includes live dealer-template previews and control-panel screenshots. You can also request a personalized demonstration to review the workflow with your dealership size and priorities in mind.

02

Website And Domain

5 questions

Can I keep my current dealership domain?

Yes. Your existing domain can stay with its current registrar. During setup, you will be given the ProAutoSites name servers to use so the domain can point to the managed website without transferring ownership.

Can I purchase a new domain during signup?

Yes. You can search for an available domain during signup. A new domain is registered for the customer, billed yearly as a separate item, and configured with the website after successful checkout. Optional paid privacy services are shown before purchase when applicable.

Are hosting and SSL included?

Yes. Managed website hosting and HTTPS are included with the monthly plan. Domain registration is separate when you purchase a new domain through ProAutoSites.

Can I choose and customize a website template?

Yes. Templates provide the starting layout, colors, typography, and responsive behavior. Authorized users can change the active template and available website settings without rebuilding vehicle inventory or lead records.

What happens to my existing business email?

You can keep using your current email provider. Connecting an existing website domain does not require moving Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or another established mailbox service. DNS must be configured carefully so the website and existing mail records continue to work together.

Inventory And Merchandising

4 questions

How do vehicles get onto the website?

Vehicles can be entered in the control panel or imported through supported inventory workflows. Each listing can include the VIN, stock number, price, mileage, location, specifications, description, status, and ordered photos before it is published.

What counts toward the active vehicle limit?

Only active, publicly listed vehicles count toward plan capacity. Draft, pending, hidden, and sold records do not use the active inventory allowance. Starter supports up to 25 active vehicles, Pro up to 75, and Premium has no active-vehicle limit.

Can I manage more than one dealership location?

Multiple-location tools are available on eligible plans. Locations can have separate addresses, phone numbers, hours, departments, and inventory, while shoppers can filter listings by location when more than one active rooftop is configured.

Can I control vehicle photos and listing order?

Yes. The vehicle media screen registers uploaded photos, controls which images are public, and lets the dealership choose the primary image and gallery order. Files must be attached to the vehicle record rather than only copied into an asset folder.

Leads And Customer Follow-Up

3 questions

Where do website inquiries go?

Inventory, contact, finance-interest, trade-in, test-drive, service, and other enabled forms create lead records in the control panel. Staff can review the source and context, assign an owner, add notes, track contact history, and update the lead status.

Does ProAutoSites store full credit applications?

No. Finance forms are designed for non-sensitive interest and handoff information. Social Security numbers, dates of birth, bank details, payment-card data, driver-license details, and complete credit applications should be handled only by an approved secure finance provider.

Are appointments and website chat available?

Yes. Every plan includes appointment workflows and live website chat. Dealer staff control their chat presence and manage scheduled customer visits from the control panel.

05

Pricing And Billing

4 questions

Is there a setup fee?

No. The platform setup fee is $0 for Starter, Pro, and Premium. The selected monthly subscription begins through secure checkout, and a newly registered domain is priced separately as a yearly item.

What are the current monthly plans?

Starter is $99 per month, Pro is $199 per month, and Premium is $399 per month. Each level increases inventory capacity and adds operational, CRM, reporting, or marketing features. The Pricing page contains the current detailed comparison.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. A dealership can begin with the capacity and tools it needs now and move to another available plan as inventory or workflow needs change. Features that depend on a higher plan become available only while that eligible plan is active.

Are there charges beyond the monthly plan?

There is no separate platform setup fee. A newly purchased domain renews yearly, and third-party services such as SMS usage, advertising spend, optional domain privacy, or external providers may have separate charges when selected.

06

Launch, Support And Security

4 questions

What information is needed to launch?

Setup collects the dealership and legal business names, primary contact, address, phone, domain choice, and plan. Before publishing, the dealer should also complete its location hours, logo, website content, inventory, lead-notification settings, and any required domain or email DNS records.

How long does setup take?

The initial account and website provisioning begins after successful payment. Timing depends on the domain choice, DNS changes, SSL issuance, inventory preparation, and how quickly dealership content is supplied. Existing-domain DNS changes may require additional propagation time.

How do dealers get help?

Dealer users can open Support from the control panel and submit a ticket with the affected page, record, expected result, and a screenshot when useful. Prospective customers can use the contact form or schedule a demonstration from this website.

How is access to the control panel managed?

Each employee receives an individual user account with a role, status, permissions, and optional location scope. Dealership owners and managers can limit access to the tools each person needs, while Super Admin-only platform settings remain hidden from dealer users.
